A giant "Welcome to Vice City" sign now sits on the Miami Heat's arena
Rockstar helicoptered a pink-and-white "Welcome to Vice City" sign onto the roof of Miami's Kaseya Center — the first piece of a citywide GTA VI campaign as launch closes in.
Grand Theft Auto VI's marketing has moved off screens and into the real Vice City. On September 22, 2026, crews used helicopters to lift a roughly 4,700-square-foot "Welcome to Vice City" sign, complete with the GTA VI logo, onto the roof of the Kaseya Center — home of the Miami Heat.
Rockstar reportedly paid Miami-Dade County, which owns the arena, about $975,000 for the placement. The waterfront sign is big enough to read from planes heading into Miami International Airport, and reports say it could stay up until April 2027 — well past the November 19 launch.
The rooftop sign is the first of several Miami activations to go live. Branding on Miami Beach and banners around downtown are expected to follow through launch season.
